A standard 24' x 24' two-car garage with 8-foot high walls has a total perimeter of 96 feet. If you were building solid walls, you would need approximately 860 to 900 blocks. However, once you subtract the area for a 16' x 7' garage door and a standard side entry door, the net count drops to roughly 720 to 750 blocks.
